Service Description

Don't be intimidated by crochet! This 4-week course will fast-track you to learning how to make crochet plushies. You will scratch the surface of the basics of crochet, all with the goal of reading patterns and making your own cute little critters. Week 1: How to hold the hook and yarn Foundation stitches - chain, single crochet, and slip stitch Week 2: Working in rounds Counting stitches Making circular fabric Week 3: More stitches - Double crochet Practice with hook and yarn sizes Finishing and seaming Mini-project: Make circles for a sunflower Week 4: Creating your own critters Reading patterns Mini-project: Add ornamentation to your sunflower Currently we are taking 5 students this time for this class, ages 14 and up. There is a 2 person minimum before a class will be scheduled for this time slot. NOTE: Since we charge a credit card processing fee the moment you pay, there will be a $7 cancellation fee, should you need to cancel before the 1st day of the course starting. After that, the cost of the course is not refundable, but we can apply it to a future course or you can transfer it to a friend or family member.
