It's time to get started!
The 2025 Empty Bowl Event was a - feel-good, memory-making evening, we raised $20,570 over the course of the months long efforts of bowl painting and event night!
It's time to get started with the bowl making for our Empty Bowls 2026 event! We want to give more people the opportunity to get involved now and be a part of supporting our community through Lake Cares Food Pantry.
What you can do to help right now
There are steps we need to take to get started with our yearly
Empty Bowls preparation.

We need Bag of Clay Sponsors to help us obtain the materials we need to make the bowls. Each bag makes approximately 17 bowls each.

Our staff and students will be throwing or hand building the bowls, which we bisque fire after trimming and drying....

Then we need painters! These are super fun nights that you just let your creativity flow. These bowls will then be fired and stored until the event.

More help is needed
Although we are raising money to help Lake Cares Food Pantry run all their programs to support our neighbors in need, they also need food donations.
We are hosting a food drive at the studio as a drop off point, but you can also just donate directly at Lake Cares.
Check your pantry for any food you can spare, or do a little extra shopping next time you're at the store.
