Empty Bowls - Hand-building Class

Service Description

Let's get ready for Mount Dora - Empty Bowls 2026! Register, and join us to hand build bowls with about 1 - 1 1/2 lbs of clay, that will be donated to the event. Don't worry if you feel like you are not artistic, your heart and support will make it well loved regardless! We will teach you several techniques: slab draping, pinch pot, or coil, and how you can add texture too. Once dried these will be bisque fired and ready for others to coming in during our Empty Bowls painting events. The bowls will be selected by someone in the community that attends the big event, and treasured for years to come! The class is only $10 and includes 1 beverage of your choice from our café. (Dates are subject to change if needed.) We have some dates and times set up for the next couple of months that we are reserving for the bowl painting. We hope you can join us for them too, and can't wait to see what you create! (Note: These bowls, and painting fee will all be donated to the event and cannot be personally purchased before the event). We have lots of our regular bisque bowls in the studio that you can purchase and take home with you a week later if you wish. 😌
