Summer Teen Wheel Intensive, 4pm - 6/11

Service Description

This class is designed just for Teens this summer! This is a beginners class (6 sessions) that have no or little experience on the wheel. We will be meeting 3 times a week, for two weeks. (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday), for 2 hours. (This includes clean up time). 1 Make -up classes is available, if needed. No experience is needed for beginners. You will learn the basics of wheel throwing- wedging clay, centering, lifting the walls, shaping and trimming. We will make work on various items like: bowls, cups with handles, vases, a decorative piece. The class is $270 (plus tax). Class includes up to 10 pounds of clay, use of tools, glazing and firings up to 5 pieces. (Note: Additional pieces can be fired for $12 a pound) Currently we are taking 7 students this time for each class, (ages 14 and up). There is a 4 person minimum before a class will be started for each time slot. Please also let us know of a day and time that you need if it is not listed. NOTE: Since we are charge a credit card processing fee the moment you pay, there will be a $10 cancellation fee, should you need to cancel before the 1st day of the course starting. After that, the cost of the course is not refundable for any reason, but we can apply it to a future course or you can transfer it to a friend or family member.
