Hand Built Press Flowers Plate, 3/18-1pm

Service Description

This beautiful plate was made with real flowers! You can make 2 smaller plates, or 1 larger plate. We'll be rolling out large slabs on the slab roller to create the base and then carefully pressing real flowers and herbs to create the designs. We will let them dry slowly to help prevent warping and cracks. Once completely dry we will bisque fire them. They will then be ready for you to glaze any day during our normal hours. (Note, if you do not plan on glazing right away, we ask that you pick them up until then, as we have limited space). We will give you instructions on how to achieve this look with glaze using several colors to create a contrast to the clay. We need to have at least 3 people registered before we can start this project, so dates may change as needed. NOTE: Since we are charge a credit card processing fee the moment you pay, there will be a $5 cancellation fee, should you need to cancel before the 1st day of the course starting. After that, the cost of the course is not refundable, but we can apply it to a future course or you can transfer it to a friend or family member.
